PolyTrack is a classic car racing game with a twist. You race a car you've customized on a track you might have designed yourself. This fast-paced low-poly driving game features thrilling loops, jumps, and high-speed action where every millisecond counts. Inspired by TrackMania, it challenges you to race against the clock and constantly improve your time on various tracks built by you and the PolyTrack community. It doesn't get any more hands-on than that. We enjoyed creating our own courses and taking turns to see who could get the fastest times. Using jumps and physics to find unintended shortcuts was the funniest moment: a carefully designed course could be beaten in seconds. If you go wrong, you can restart almost instantly, which is a nice touch. Everyone loved it, even the youngest family members.
How to Play PolyTrack: You can race on courses you've designed, but it's easier to start with existing ones. You need to think about beating your own record and master building for speed and precision. Start by creating your track using the game's design tools or choosing from pre-made tracks. Customize the track with obstacles, ramps, and curves. Not sure what to build? Get help from the PolyTrack community through forums sharing design codes and tips. With a built-in level editor, you can design custom tracks, export, and share them for endless fun. The game requires time and patience; it's not like other driving games where you just press the pedal. Initially, build straight lines, but as you get the hang of it, you'll create tracks jumping over mountains. You can also customize your vehicle by selecting primary and secondary colors, adjusting the car frame and rim colors, and personalizing rims, paint patterns, and exhaust pipes. A series of pre-made tracks is available for practice.
