Description
Core Objective and Map Selection
In Bloons TD 6 Strategy Defense, the goal is straightforward: stop every balloon from reaching the end of the path. You begin by choosing a map, such as Monkey Meadows or Park Path, each with a distinct layout that changes where towers can be placed and how balloons travel. After picking a map, you select a difficulty level. Five options exist, ranging from Easy to CHIMPS, and they adjust both the number of balloons that appear and the cash prizes you earn. Higher difficulties demand tighter resource management and more precise tower placement.
Placing Towers and Managing Waves
Once a map and difficulty are set, you receive cash to purchase monkeys, blasters, and other tools. These are placed along the path to intercept incoming balloons. Balloons arrive in waves, and each tower type pops them in different ways. If even one balloon slips past your defenses, the round is lost. Towers can be upgraded as you earn more cash, increasing their effectiveness against tougher waves. The challenge lies in balancing spending on new towers versus saving for critical upgrades later.
Practice and Experimentation
A Sandbox mode lets you test strategies on custom maps without the risk of losing. This is useful for learning how different tower combinations handle various balloon types. The game is designed to be family-friendly and focuses on strategic thinking rather than violence. Its playful balloon theme keeps the experience accessible, while the five difficulty levels and multiple maps provide room to grow.
